Faction Overview Strategic Overview History

The Koreans have the power of Valour.

For centuries, the Korean peoples have lived ensconced in the mountains of the northeast, protected from the machinations of their Shang neighbours to the west and the barbarous tribes to the north. A new invader, however has arrived on the scene, capable of penetrating Korea's mountains — metalworking — and is set to change the Korean world forever. But time is short, for the Shang are ever restless, and the hosts of barbarian tribes wax numerous.

Korean warriors are known for their prowess in battle, but they are still inferior in comparison to their Chinese neighbours. Their only chance lies in two things — the geography of their homelands, which has kept most chariot-driving hordes at bay, and their strong links to their culture through their shaman caste, the Mudang. Even so, it may not be enough, they will have to learn the secrets of metalworking and arm their warriors better if they are to survive the onslaught that must surely come either from China or the lands further north.
