GREEK UNIT DESIGN[edit source]
- Composite Bowmen - reskin of Rise of Kings composite bowman, which in itself is a reskin. Duh. Not likely to be hi priority. May be clad in scale corslet, or heavy leather corset like Illyrioi. Then again, may be potential target for testing with Illyrioi.
- Akkadian 1, heavy leather base with bronze phaelerae. Could use a heavily pattered "Illyrian" texture".
- Aegean 1, leather "Boob tube", in the Egyptain style. Must use a plain base.
- Heavy Axemen - WIP. MArmesse cuirass, with a simple helm made of reinforced leather.
- Guardsmen (elite swordsmen) - see above, but with an elaborate, horned helmet. This unit is probably used by Euros, too.
- Long Spearmen - the full Dendra treatment, no more, no less.
INDO-EURO UNIT DESIGN[edit source]
- Composite Bowmen - Same as Akkadian - clad in bronze mail, and a proper plumed helmet to match. Is replaced by Skaduganganz.
- Heavy Axemen - See above, not likely that they were used by anyone other than in the Mediterranean, and China.
- Guardsmen (elite swordsmen) - see above. Crested brass hemlets, similar to Villanovan or an "Incan" one should be used.
- [ This is a slot for the Speutagardaz. ]
AKKADIAN UNIT DESIGN[edit source]
- Either a k=phyl, or a corslet of mail. Simple brass helmets.presentable tunics.
- Heavy Axemen - Mittani. Not that we need them, Heavy Axes are used only by Thracians, and possibly Hittites (don't forget the Shang and the Zhou)
- Guardsmen (elite swordsmen) - Probably the Mittani, but clad in long robes. And a k-phylax
ASIAN[edit source]
These warriors wear leather armour, and short robes. They also wear plumed caps. So what do we need?
- MEdiaeval composite archer - done.
- Lithuanian warriors - WIP. Can be reedited to form Greek heavy axemen.
- Guardsmen. should come with 2 different sorts of cloaks, one made of crude fur, the other made of dazzling "Illyrian" fabric.
- Long spearmen - these are no brainers. They're big guys, clad in brass and carrying massive shields.
