Mesedi Spearmen
From Warbirth Wiki
"The Hittites are fighters and conquerors. To them, the word "peace" is a sort of poetic image with no concrete meaning attached."

Unique Hittite elite heavy spear infantry unit which replaces Guardsmen. Very heavily armoured and has good attack, but very vulnerable to archer fire owing to poor mobility.

Notes[edit | edit source]
Since Hittites use the Aryan set of units, it stands that we need to make the following clear:
- Hovels
- Anatolian Axemen - Hittite infantry with short tunics, naked legs, and leather caps and short shields.
- Barracks
- Spears - Hittites can train Hittite Spearmen, and Medium Spearmen. Suggest that Hittite Spearmen have traditional dress, they carry large Mycenaean-style "twinmoon" shields.
- Swords - Hittite.
- Composite Bows - Hittite style
- Warrior Hall
- Guardsmen - essentially clad in mail, with a bronze helmet and a khopesh.
- Hanwasuit Spearmen - elite Hittite heavy spears. Costlier to raise but very tough. May need to use vanilla Phalanx skin.
