Greece

From Warbirth Wiki

Greece have the power of Concord.

Long before the spectacular rise of Macedonia's most infamous son, Alexander the Great, the Greeks were very much the last few civilised peoples on the westernmost fringes of the late Persian empire, a people too seemingly fractious and innocuous to ever challenge the natural order of things - that Asia should rule, and the West follow. All that changed with Alexander's spectacular victories across Mesopotamia, granting him the much coveted title of "King of the World". Since then, Alexander has passed on, some say in mysterious circumstances, near his new capital of Babylon and now the Greeks are the undisputed rulers of the entire known world.

However, as impressive as this new world ruled by the Greeks is, Greek domination is far from complete. Following his death, Alexander's empire has since then fallen apart, with Egypt seceding under a rogue general, Ptolemy, even as the lion's share from this latest division went to yet another, Seleucus the Victorious. As impressive as Seleucus' influence must be, it is not contested - the old Macedonian lands have fallen under the control of usurpers, while the rest of Greece has fallen into chaos once more, even as old Greece is being devastated by countless wars with the Carthaginians and Celts. Farther west and north, the Dacians and Scythians continue to remain a geopolitical headache just as they did to the Persians before the Greeks, even as conflict begins anew, not just between Seleucus and Ptolemy, but between the many petty kingdoms who have pledged allegiance to Seleucus ever since Alexander died.
